Build help
Generally I figure these things out by myself, however I've been away from assassin (as well as the game) for a long time and I've been playing him in FA a lot.
I've been using this
http://www.gwpvx.com/Special:PvXDeco...e=&Go=Subm it
Which works but I'm sure it could be better, thoughts? This build is really only for FA and maybe general PvE (though I'd most likely use WoTA for most PvE)

Hey,
These are just my thoughts on it:
1. IMO Fox Fangs > Wild Strike.
2. With Leaping Mantis Sting recharging almost immediately, the max damage you'll get from Blades of Steel is 28, I would choose for a skill with a bit more damage on that spot.
3. I prefer Dark Escape for a quick getaway and for crossing big areas, because it lasts way longer and the half damage could come in handy.
These were just my opinions, hope I could help.

Leaping mantis has a 8 sec recharge, by the time I do Leaping, wild, twisting, then follow with leaping, wild, steel, all my dagger skills are recharging, so I max steel at 60 exactly
Also agreed on fox fang I went back to that last night >.<

Also remember that Flashing Blades takes "while attacking" quite literally. You're only protected during the time you perform the hit, which is usually very short, discrete moments. Given this, there's probably a better elite you could use.

Assassins have no good general PvE elites. Flashing Blade's DPS is actually one of the best, although you can also use WoTA for additional e-manage and critical damage.

Come, now. There's plenty of decent A elites.
As for FB's DPS: unless I'm missing something (which is entirely possible), FB only protects during fractions of a second when you actually make the attack. And in order to give damage to your attacker he has to be attacking when you block, meaning at the exact same moment when you're attacking. How often does that happen?

What do you think could do with being improved?
I'd want to have some condition removal on there like a mending touch or antidote signet.
I'd probably give WotA a try to improve the spike.
Are you death charging into enemies to begin the spike? If so gaining health might be a bit pointless if you're already at full. If you're using it as a heal when in combat then hopefully you survive enough to take the target down.

A PvP Assassin without KDs is doing something wrong.
Are you fighting on the Lux side or Kurz side?

Where did you get this information? Flashing Blades provides constant blocking as long as you're auto-attacking. Not only when a hit lands. The major problem with it is when you need it the most (running towards the mob, unless you pre-protted yourself...) it doesn't provide any effect. Other then that it's pretty decent if you managed to actually take aggro on the majority of the mobs you're facing.
Sin-tank, whoopdeedoo!

Well, Flashing Blades could help when fighting the Luxon Warriors that accompany the Turtles.

EDIT: lolwut just realized this was for FA. Oh well, my point still stands . Post in Gladiator Section next time.
Going to be using a standard dagger spam build.
Assault Enchantments- doesn't provide additional damage, enchant removal is nice but unneeded.
Dark Apostasy - Too much energy and no additional damage
Locust's Fury - A small, increase in damage when auto-attacking
Palm Strike - Provides small damage and allows you to go straight to DB.
Seeping Wound - Too e-heavy to consider
Shattering Assault - Too e-heavy to consider+Damage isn't as great as DB
Way of the Assassin - More e-manage and additional damage from crits
Flashing Blades - 75% block and can deal a lot of damage if holding aggro
Fox's Promise - Kind of hard on energy; inferior to Asuran Scan
Golden Skull Strike - Kind of hard on energy; no damage but has daze
Moebius Strike - No need for Moebius with dagger spam
Temple Strike - Too e-heavy to consider
Assassin's Promise - What do you need to recharge that requires you to stop and cast?
Mark of Insecurity - Not that applicable in PvE and disables your non-sin skills
Shadow Prison - single-target 10e snares don't have any place.
Shroud of Silence - Was never that useful in PvE; became extremely useless from PvP nerf
Siphon Strength - can be semi-useful against bosses
Way of the Empty Palm - Can be useful if you're running Twisting Fangs/EBSoH or something.
Beguiling Haze - Too much energy+not that useful
Hidden Caltrops - disables your non-sin skills for a single-target snare
Shadow Form - Damage cap
Shadow Shroud - Single-target+not that useful
Aura of Displacement - A shadowstep that allows you to shadowstep back! (no)
Shadow Meld - same as AoD
Wastrel's Collapse - You're never going to get the KD effect in PvE; just another long recharging shadowstep
Pew Pew.

It's very easy to get the KD with this skill in PvE.
And yes, this thread was in the wrong forum.
